Shari McLeod trained in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose and has traveled around the
world and back to share her talents and experiences with us. She has taught Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, directed
and choreographed for 32 years at Studio S Broadway. Just back from The Super Bowl in Miami, Shari
choreographed a show for recording artist Arielle Paige during Fan Fest, which includes her hit video and song,  
“Money Don’t Make a Difference.” Shari has been working her choreography magic with America’s Best Talent
singing sensation, “Dead Off Center.” Besides Shari’s many years of dancing, singing, acting and modeling she
has worked with Chita Rivera in “Anything Goes,” John Carradine in “Brigadoon and starred as Mona Kent in
“Dames at Sea.”  Shari has an amazing way of being able to choreograph in any style, in any situation, and has
displayed her creative and stylish talents for the “World Cup Soccer U.S.A.,” choreographing the Opening
Ceremonies. Shari has choreographed and directed the National Tour for freestyle artist “Jossette.” Her music
video choreography also includes Fara Famazani with RCA. Shari has choreographed for the Hotel Sofitel’s
“Bastille Day” and “April in Paris” for the past 17 years with “Tower of Power” and “Standing Room Only.”  In 1990
Shari choreographed “Jesus Christ Super Star” for San Jose Civic Light Opera. Her choreography was highly
appreciated for the U.S. Olympic Committees  “Party on the Pier” in San Francisco, featuring past and present
Olympians, The Doobie Brothers, and Jefferson Starship. Her dancers and choreography have been seen at
numerous Industrials throughout the Bay Area. They include, Hitachi, Genentech, Novelle, Raychem
Corporation, Blue Martini Software, Little Jim, Iselex, The Culinary Academy in San Francisco, First American
Title and Cable Car Classics to name a few. She has had an extensive career in teaching Dance Conventions
around the country for Dance Masters of America and Dance Arts Unlimited. Shari’s talent is well recognized in
our hometown of Redwood City. She is known for her choreography in the Miss Redwood City, Miss San Jose
Pageants and the opening of the Sequoia High School’s Theatre, Carrington Hall. She also teaches tap at Notre
Dame De Namur University, Hip Hop at Roy Cloud and Adelante schools.  Many of her students have gone on to
pursue careers in dancing and teaching in Los Angeles and New York. Shari’s passion for teaching dance and
choreography continue to inspire and touch people of all ages throughout the United States. Her gift of benefit
shows include Parker G Foundation for C.O.T.A., Filoli Estates for Child Abuse, Olive Crest Foundation for Child
Abuse, Ronald McDonald House, Stanford Hospital, Sequoia Hospital, Belmont Convalescent Hospital,
Woodside Convalescent Hospital, and Veterans Hospital. In addition to running her studio, Shari is represented
by the Marla Dell Agency in San Francisco as a plus size fit model for Gap Inc including Gap, Old Navy, Banana
Republic and Levi’s. She also models for “Sandra Ingrish,” who designs for Nordstrom. Shari’s proudest
moments are with her family, John, Samantha, Makaila, Cameron, Shuffle and Callalily.
John McLeod has toured the United States with Mitzi Gaynor as a featured singer and dancer for
many years. He has also starred in "West Side Story", "Forty-Second Street", "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"
and
"Dames at Sea". John has danced many industrials including Hitachi, Genentech, Novelle, Raychem
Corporation, Blue Martini Software, Little Jim, Iselex, The Culinary Academy in San Francisco, First
American Title and Cable Car Classics to name a few. Besides being a wonderful father to Sam, Mak and
Cam, he is our reliable and patient tap and jazz teacher. The kids love him. John has had over 20 years of
professional dance, singing and teaching experience. Thanks to John, he put his building and painting talents
to use in our "Hollywood Room" upstairs that is used for more dance classes and opportunities.
Sam McLeod has been dancing at Studio S Broadway since she could walk. She is now our hot
new teacher in charge of  many Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz. classes. She has won numerous awards
and scholarships for her dance abilities. During her 12 years in modeling. She has been featured in
Macy's, Mervyn's, Nordstroms, and is on the cover of Cranium's Cadoo box and the Leap Frogs "Mind
Wars" cover. She is also the bubble girl in the Nsync video " This I Promise You" Sam is currently dancing
for the new upcoming artist Arielle Paige and is in her new music video "Money Don't Make a Difference." Sam
has been selected to represent Los Angeles Dance Magic touring the United States.
Sam is a  past Student Trustee representative for the Redwood City Board of Education. She does all of this and
still finds time to study at San Jose State University. We are extremely proud of Sam.

Christine LaBagh started dancing at Studio S Broadway when she was a little girl. She teaches
tap,  jazz, and Acrobats for children of all ages. They love Christine's enthusiasm. She now brings both of her
daughters to dance at Studio S Broadway . They are in the Performing Production Company just like she was for
many years. Christine has danced professionally all throughout her years doing Tap, Jazz and Ballet.  Her
unbelievable acrobats were in many of our past shows. We love having Christine on our staff. She is a huge part
of our Studio S Broadway history.

Makaila McLeod is our fantastic kids teacher. Her energy and love for dance is contagious. All
the kids adore her. Makaila started dancing at 2yrs old and has never stopped. She's great with Tap, Jazz, Ballet
and Hip Ho
p. She teaches our "Special Needs" class at the studio and loves her kids. It's her mission to make
sure everyone loves to dance and loves music.
Makaila's first professional show was for the Grand Opening of
"Holiday at Stanford" at seven years old. She then toured nationally as a dancer for "Danger Rangers" while
opening for the "Wiggles."
Makaila is one of our Can Can dancers performing professional industrials
throughout the Bay Area
. In our Studio S Broadway Entertainment Company, she is magical when she sings
and dances.
Makaila is also behind the scenes on every aspect of the Studio Business. We are so lucky to have
"Mak!"


Nicole Myers has been dancing with Studio S Broadway since the age of 2. She's been a
professional dancer performing in our Entertainment Company for many years. She's a great Tap and Jazz
teacher to our Kids, Teens and Adults. Nicole takes pride in teaching special needs kids at Woodside High
School. Her patience and love for dance is seen in all of her work. Nicole is at our desk every day giving answers
to all questions and making the whole studio run smoothly. We love having Nicole with us!

Amy Woropay is our wonderful teacher of the Bibbidi and Bobbidi classes. She's been
dancing all of her life. She excels in Ballet, Tap and Jazz! She's also a newlywed this year. Amy dances in our
Can Can group which performs throughout the Bay Area. We are so proud to have Amy on our staff!

Vicki Nodine is our front desk associate who helps everyone out with everything. Her willingness to
please and her professionalism is contagious. "Just ask Vicki!"
